Entries Open for Rally Finland 2026

The 75th anniversary edition welcomes competitors with legendary heritage and a world-class challenge

Preparations for the 75th anniversary edition of Secto Rally Finland are full on, and today marks another major milestone as the Supplementary Regulations are published and entries officially open for the 2026 Grand Prix on gravel.

Secto Rally Finland once again offers competitors one of the most demanding and prestigious challenges in the FIA World Rally Championship calendar, where speed, rhythm and commitment are decisive. At the same time, the anniversary edition provides Finnish drivers with a unique opportunity to benchmark themselves against the world’s elite in front of home crowds and the international rally community.

Secto Rally Finland will be held in Jyväskylä from 30 July to 2 August 2026, and the anniversary route has been designed to highlight the legendary character of the event. The route features familiar fast Finnish roads, major jumps and technically demanding sections, but also a significant amount of completely new content. Compared to last year, as much as 66 percent of the special stages are new. The rally has also been designed to be more compact in line with FIA’s latest strategic direction. The solution reduces road sections and streamlines the competition week while preserving the characteristics that have made Rally Finland famous worldwide.

The rally includes a total of 316,04 competitive kilometres, with the full itinerary covering 1278,02 kilometres. The special stages are run mainly on gravel roads in Central Finland, and the iconic Harju city stage once again brings rallying right into the heart of the city and its atmosphere.

For competitors and teams, the rally week begins on Monday 27 July, when the service park area at Jyväskylä Paviljonki opens for team build-up. The ceremonial start of the anniversary edition will take place on Wednesday 29 July, and SS1-EK1 Harju will also be run on Wednesday evening. Shakedown will take place on Thursday 30 July in Ruuhimäki.

The rally finale will take place on Sunday with the Himos–Jämsä Power Stage, which will also serve as the spectacular conclusion to the anniversary event before the podium ceremony and prize-giving in Himos-Jämsä.

Entries close on Tuesday 30 June. The official entry list will be published on Friday 3 July 2026.
