Secto Rally Finland offers again this year a lot of entertainment and side events to spectators.

The National Vetomies Rally

The National Vetomies Rally brings 91 crews to Secto Rally Finland stages on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6. These 4WD and 2WD rally cars are super entertaining and at the same time the competition to win the much wanted Vetomies title will be fierce.

Vetomies Rally starts its journey at Harju city special stage on Friday at 17.00. On Saturday the crews will drive after the WRC caravan.

Friday 5.8.

Saturday 6.8.

  • 10.03 SS11 Päijälä 1 (20,19 km)
  • 11.00 SS12 Rapsula 1 (20,56 km)

  • 13.00 SS14 Vekkula 1 (20,65 km)

The prize-giving celebrations will be held on Saturday, August 6 at 15.00. The location is Service Park in Jyväskylä Paviljonki.

WRC Drivers’ simulator Race

The WRC1, WRC2 and WRC3 drivers are invited to have a Simulator race on Thursday, August 4 at 14.00-15.30. They will drive the WRC10 game. 

There will be a group of six drivers starting to the stage at the same time. The simulator race takes place at Service Park in Jyväskylä Paviljonki and its C1 exhibition hall.

Digital Motorsport Finnish Championship Finals

On Saturday, 6th of August at 12.00, Paviljonki Service Park will host the Digital Motorsport Finnish Championship Finals. The location is C1 exhibition hall. This year it will be a Rallycross Race and it will be streamed live at Yle Areena. Follow our website and social media channels for the stream link.

The simulators will be open to public the whole weekend (opens on Thursday, August 4 at 16.00) so also the spectators can try to beat the fastest WRC driver on a simulator race during the weekend. The simulators have the WRC10 game.

The Game area can be found in C1 exhibition hall of Paviljonki, next to the WRC2 service area.

During the rally weekend you can try your skills at karting or with RC cars at Paviljonki, there will be short test tracks built just for you to try. 

There will also be TCR and Koiranen GP’s LMP racing cars on display.

Jyväskylä – City of Lights

The traditional City of Lights will take place on September 29 until October 8 but they will offer us some appetizers already during Secto Rally Finland.

At Harju you can enjoy the artwork by Flowers of Life. Considering the bright summer nights, this year the artwork can also be found indoors, inside the Game area at Paviljonki. Also Belenos Group of Arts bring lights in the form of moving art.

Also, for the first time in the rally’s history, spectators are privileged to enjoy the Finnish Air Force Big Band and Souls of Women (Emilia Vihanto, Iina Mutikainen and Klaara Koivunen) on Thursday 4.8. at 15:30 At Paviljonki.

The Midnight Hawks

The Midnight Hawks air display team is the official aerobatic team of the Finnish Air Force. Flying four Hawk fast jets, the team has proudly presented the expertise and capabilities of the Finnish Air Force in air shows in Finland and abroad since 1997.

This year, the Midnight Hawks will offer us an air show on Friday 5.8. at 14.00.

After the show, the pilots have a meet and greet at Service Park Paviljonki where you find the Finnish Air Force stand with some equipment open to public. Definitely worth visiting. The stand is open for spectators the whole weekend. 

Toivakka Regroup Sun 7.8.

Welcome to enjoy the local markets and Secto Rally Finland to Toivakkatalo in the very center of the city of Toivakka. The markets take place between 10.00-14.00 and the rally crews will arrive at 11.55. See you at Toivakka!

Rally Hall of Fame 

The Rally Museum is involved in Secto Rally Finland both at the Rally HQ in Paviljonki and along the route. The Rally HQwill feature the career stories of the four new rally knights to be nominated for the Rally Hall of Fame this year throughout the rally from 4 to 7 August 2022. The new inductees will be announced in the Official Programme on 29 July 2022.

In addition to this, the Rally Museum will be on the rally route. The Rally Museum will be present on Friday 5 August at the Sahloinen-Moksi, Saturday 6 August at the Vekkula and Sunday 7 August at the Ruuhimäki Rally Arenas. In the spirit of 50 years of WRC, the section will feature a Volvo 142, which Markku Alén and Juhani Toivonen drove to third place in the Jyväskylä Grand Prix 50 years ago on 4-6 August 1972 with race number 59.

You can also find the official dealers Yamaha and Lahti Bike Marine from the area. On display are the popular Day Cruisers Finnmaster T6 and T9 and the wonderful Finnmaster Pilot 8 of the Cabin boat collection. In addition, in the land section you will find a practical Husky R5 aluminum boat.

Official Merchandise

In the AKK webshop at shop.flyingfinn.fi you can find all the Secto Automotive Rally Finland official merchandise, which you can easily order well in advance. 

During the event the official merchandise shops can be found from the Service Park in Jyväskylä Paviljonki and from the Rally Arenas at Sahloinen-Moksi, Vekkula and Ruuhimäki. 

Official Secto Automotive Rally Finland merchandise are sold by the product license partner High Peak.
