Jämsä is part of the Secto Rally Finland 2026 anniversary year as an official partner – with the collaboration most visible where the excitement is at its peak: on the rally’s final day.
On Sunday, all eyes turn to Jämsä and Himos as the rally culminates in the Himos–Jämsä stage, run twice. The second pass serves as the decisive Power Stage, where the final points are awarded and the overall results are settled. Immediately afterwards, the atmosphere peaks at the Himos event area podium, where the winners of the FIA World Rally Championship round are crowned.
The final day is built around a proven concept: the same stage is run twice. This creates one clear focal point where the sporting drama, services and event atmosphere come together. For spectators, this means above all ease – everything happens in one place.
At Himos, the rally weekend is not just about Sunday. Visitors can arrive earlier, stay in the area, enjoy the services and soak up the atmosphere – and on Sunday follow the full conclusion from start to finish without the need to move between stages.
– Jämsä is an important partner for us in delivering the Sunday event experience. The collaboration allows us to build the final day in a way that better serves both the audience and the overall event, says Secto Rally Finland Promoter Tiina Lehmonen.
From Jämsä’s perspective, the partnership further strengthens the area’s position as one of Finland’s leading destinations for events and tourism.
– Himos offers a wide range of accommodation and activities, making it easy to combine the rally with a longer stay. The event has a significant positive impact on the local economy both before and after the rally, says Ulla Haggrén, Head of Tourism and Marketing for the City of Jämsä.
