Pajari secures Toksport Skoda Fabia Rally2 for Secto Rally Finland

Junior WRC and WRC3 Open headliners Sami Pajari and Enni Mälkönen continue their WRC2 journey in their home event of Secto Rally Finland in August. The pair takes part in the event with a Toksport WRT serviced Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo.

The Finnish crew had their first international outing in a similar Rally2 machinery at the hot Rally Italia Sardegna in June, where they stunned by finishing in fifth place in the WRC2 category. After Finland, their next event with the Fabia will be at the end of October, when the pair will compete in the Rally RACC Catalunya in Spain.

“This a superb opportunity for us, to get to drive our home event in such a car is a real pleasure. We’ve put a huge effort in assembling this diverse package for the season and this is again a display of success on that part.”

“The drive with Toksport got off to a brilliant start in Sardinia and we couldn’t be more excited to get to try the Rally2 Fabia on the much faster roads of Finland. The outing Spain in autumn will in turn give us the chance to try the beast on fast asphalt roads, so all in all we will get a proper taste of Rally2 speeds already this season.”

Before their home event, Pajari and Mälkönen will continue their hunt for JWRC and Rally3 Open success when competing in Rally Estonia on 14-17th of July.

There they will again drive the main tool of the season, the M-Sport Poland provided Ford Fiesta Rally3. With a Rally3 victory behind them from Rally Portugal, the second half of the season is looking bright for the young Finns.
