The opening day of Secto Rally Finland’s 75th anniversary celebrations will culminate on Wednesday, 29 July, with a spectacular anniversary parade bringing today’s FIA World Rally Championship stars and iconic historic rally cars into the centre of Jyväskylä. The parade of around 30 vehicles will depart from the Service Park at 18:00, tour the city centre and return to the Service Park.
The best places for spectators to watch the parade are Väinönkatu and Yliopistonkatu.
On Väinönkatu, 300 free Secto Rally Finland supporter flags will be distributed to spectators while stocks last. Visitors can also enjoy entertainment from the Red Bull Unimog.
The anniversary parade will feature all 2026 Rally1 cars and their crews, representatives from other competition categories, as well as a unique collection of historic rally cars spanning several decades of Rally Finland history.
Following the parade, the programme continues at the Jyväskylä Paviljonki Service Park, culminating in the Opening Ceremony on the Secto Stage at 19:00, followed by a free concert by Etta.
While waiting for the Opening Ceremony to begin, visitors can explore the Service Park, enjoy the event attractions and collect autographs from the drivers at the team service areas. Admission to the Service Park is free on Wednesday, and the area opens to the public at 15:00.
Anniversary Parade
The parade starts from the Service Park today, Wednesday, at 18:00, tours the streets of central Jyväskylä and returns to the Paviljonki area at approximately 18:30.
