Jukola Industries and Secto Rally Finland join forces for the 2026 anniversary year

A Finnish innovation and a world-class sporting event are joining forces as Jukola Industries and Secto Rally Finland launch a partnership to mark the 75th anniversary of Finland’s WRC round in 2026. The partnership aims to showcase new and sustainable solutions for trophies and event structures to an international audience, while creating new global growth opportunities for Finnish expertise.

The first visible result of the partnership will be presented at the Spark the Future seminar on 31 July 2026, where Jukola Industries will produce a display wall for the Most Sustainable Sport Event award and showcase its latest innovative solutions for trophies and event structures.

Secto Rally Finland is known as one of the world’s most highly regarded WRC events and for its long-term commitment to sustainability. Jukola Industries, meanwhile, uses its patented technology to develop innovative solutions for patterned wooden surfaces, wall panels, trophies and event structures.

The partnership provides an opportunity to present Finnish innovations to an international audience that includes WRC teams, business decision-makers, partners and media representatives.

– The 75th anniversary of Finland’s WRC round provides an excellent platform for showcasing Finnish innovation internationally, and it is a great honour for Jukola Industries. Our patented production method enables geometric patterns and graphics to be created directly on wooden surfaces. Similar innovations are also developed in the world of the WRC. The production method has been used for the trophy wall at Jyväskylä Paviljonki and for the competition trophies. We want to build a partnership that creates value both for the event and for the international growth of Jukola Industries, says Jouni Lehmonen, founder and industrial designer at Jukola Industries.

– In Konnevesi, we are proud that Sydänmaa, one of the spectacular special stages of Finland’s WRC round, is held in our municipality. Over the decades, the rally has become an important part of our local identity, and the entire community is strongly involved in the event. It is wonderful to see a Konnevesi-based company using this international platform to accelerate its growth. Jukola Industries demonstrates that innovations attracting international interest can also emerge from a small municipality and reach global markets, says Riku Tulla, CEO of Elinvoimayhtiö Konneveden Voima Oy.

Paula Paappanen, Commercial Director of Secto Rally Finland, sees the partnership as part of a broader development in which the event serves as a platform for the growth of Finnish companies.

– Our aim is to expand the way partnerships and sponsorships are viewed beyond the traditional sponsorship model. We want to highlight Finnish brands, innovations and stories, and offer companies the opportunity to use Finland’s WRC round as an international marketing platform. At the same time, we can create new business opportunities and generate growth in Finland.

– We are extremely pleased to have found an innovative and high-quality partner in Jukola Industries for the event’s trophies and event structures. Our very first discussions already generated several new ideas, which we will continue to develop together with the future in mind, says Tiina Lehmonen, promoter of Secto Rally Finland.
