Spark the Future – international sustainability forum
Spark the Future, international sustainable mobility forum strengthens its role as part of Secto Rally Finland’s anniversary year.
The international Spark the Future Sustainability Forum will be held for the fourth time in summer 2026 as part of the FIA World Rally Championship round, Secto Rally Finland. The event takes place on Friday, 31 July 2026 at Jyväskylä Paviljonki.
In just a few years, Spark the Future has established itself as a leading international platform where the future of mobility, sustainable technologies, and high-performance leadership come together. The forum brings together experts from the mobility and technology sectors, business leaders, researchers, and key figures from international motorsport.
First speakers 2026
The full programme for 2026 will be released in the spring, but the first speakers have already been confirmed.
Heikki Liimatainen
Professor at Tampere University and one of Finland’s leading experts in sustainable mobility and transport systems.
Emma Kimiläinen
Two-time UIM E1 World Championship winner and a pioneer in electric motorsport.

The programme will feature top international speakers, the latest research perspectives, and concrete examples of sustainability in action. The event will also highlight practical solutions and development initiatives shaping more sustainable mobility both in Central Finland and internationally.
In cooperation with key regional partners
Spark the Future 2026 is organised in close cooperation with the City of Jyväskylä and the Regional Council of Central Finland. The event further strengthens Central Finland’s position as a frontrunner in sustainable mobility, transport system development, and responsible innovation.
In summer 2026, Jyväskylä will once again host a unique combination of sustainability, innovation, performance, and leadership – set within the global arena of rallying.
