The final day of the rally will be opened and closed by Ouninpohja. The Power Stage demands a special stage worthy of its name, and this time Ouninpohja will be the main stage for the entire rally finale. Sunday or Power Stage points will not come easy for Ouninpohja, as wrc.com voted Ouninpohja the most demanding stage in the world in 2013.
All activities on the final day will be focused around the Ouninpohja. The Kakaristo area will host a rally arena, regroup, and the podium. Activities in the area are already running early on Saturday, and the action is sure to get busier during the evening and night.
The current version of Ouninpohja started in 1995. Even before that, one of the most famous events in rally history was probably when Timo Mäkinen drove a Morris Mini Cooper at Ouninpohja in 1967 with the bonnet bouncing to block his field of vision, still finishing third in the Special Stage with a good time. This is a good place to end the rally!
